The Base executive assistant software is shutting down on September 30, 2026. After that date, app.basehq.com will no longer be available and you will not be able to sign in.

What is shutting down

The web application at app.basehq.com, and every feature inside it, stops working on September 30, 2026. That includes Digest, Decision Stream, Dossier, tasks, and the inbox and calendar tools that sat alongside them.

Links to the software from elsewhere on this site and from older articles will stop working on the same date.

What is not changing

Base itself is not going anywhere. Executive assistant matching and support, training, the community, and the resources on this site all continue exactly as they are. The shutdown applies to the software product only.

Your account and your content

If you have an account, we are contacting you directly by email with everything you need to know about your account and the content you have stored in it. If you have not heard from us, or you have a question that cannot wait, get in touch and we will come back to you.

Anything you want to keep hold of is worth copying into your own tools before September 30, 2026. Digests, dossiers, and decision history are the things people tend to miss most.

Where to go next: Base Delegate

The part of the software people used most was the back and forth between an executive and their assistant. That is what Base Delegate does, and it does it better than the old app did.

Delegate keeps delegation in a thread. Send a voice note and it transcribes itself. Anything that turns out to be a task becomes one automatically. And Decision Stream, the question feed that let assistants collect a run of decisions without interrupting anyone, carries over from the old software.
